About the Event

Before embarking on outreach, CHE Korea provides a mandatory training program. This course focuses on understanding CHE principles from a holistic perspective and exploring ways to appropriately apply them in local contexts.

The training covers the following key topics:

  • Gospel of the Kingdom of God: Understanding the fundamental purpose and meaning of missions.
  • Ownership: Learning how to help local residents take an active role in their own development.
  • Relief and Development: Studying the differences between short-term relief and long-term development, and the importance of each.
  • Needs and Resources: Identifying actual community needs and effectively utilizing available resources.
  • Worldview: Developing an attitude of understanding and respecting diverse cultures and perspectives.
  • LePSAS: Referring to learner-centered, problem-posing, self-discovery, action-oriented, and Holy Spirit-led participatory education methods.
  • Holistic Health: Learning approaches that promote balance in physical, mental, and spiritual health.
  • Outreach Planning: Developing concrete plans that can be applied in actual mission fields.

Through this training, participants will build a foundation for more effective and sustainable ministry work in the mission field.
