About the Event
Before embarking on outreach, CHE Korea provides a mandatory training program. This course focuses on understanding CHE principles from a holistic perspective and exploring ways to appropriately apply them in local contexts.
The training covers the following key topics:
- Gospel of the Kingdom of God: Understanding the fundamental purpose and meaning of missions.
- Ownership: Learning how to help local residents take an active role in their own development.
- Relief and Development: Studying the differences between short-term relief and long-term development, and the importance of each.
- Needs and Resources: Identifying actual community needs and effectively utilizing available resources.
- Worldview: Developing an attitude of understanding and respecting diverse cultures and perspectives.
- LePSAS: Referring to learner-centered, problem-posing, self-discovery, action-oriented, and Holy Spirit-led participatory education methods.
- Holistic Health: Learning approaches that promote balance in physical, mental, and spiritual health.
- Outreach Planning: Developing concrete plans that can be applied in actual mission fields.
Through this training, participants will build a foundation for more effective and sustainable ministry work in the mission field.
